Letters to the Future: A Multi-Media Salon

Tuesday, April 24, 5:30-7pm, at The Dunbar Pavilion on the second floor in room 210, Kore Press hosts an interactive, muti-media salon on Letters to the Future: Black Women / Radical Writing, led by Dr Stephanie Troutman.

The salon will walk us through some of the images and visually-driven works in the book edited by Erica Hunt and Dawn Lundy Martin, along with audio excerpts from interviews with five of the contributing artists at the KXCI Congress St station last October, and an interactive letter-writing piece with participants.

The event is free and open to the public. Currently, the elevator at the Dunbar is out of commission, but we will update here to let folks know about accessibility to the event. Parking is free on West 2nd St and in the parking lot to the south of the Dunbar. We will have drinks, snacks, and Kore books available.

325 West 2nd St, Tucson, 85705. Kore Press is at the top of the stairs from the 2nd St entrance in room 201. The salon will be in room 210, upstairs on the second floor.
